Get to Know Julie
The Short & Sweet Version
As a small business owner since 2002, I have worn many hats throughout the years. Not only sales & marketing and business development; I've also had the opportunity to work with many different types of people, providing a high level of personalized service based on my clients needs. No two are ever the same. I've led a team of concierge servicing multiple luxury condominium buildings; designed Concierge programs for large real estate companies; and serviced 1,000's of homeowners ensuring they live the lifestyle they want.
Becoming a real estate agent was a natural progression as I know inside and out the lifestyle my clients are looking for, I have a heart for service, a mind for business, and will always go above and beyond. I look forward to providing you a Concierge level of service. |

The more personal, longer version of my "why"...
My husband and I moved our family from Las Vegas to Hampton Roads in 2009 to be closer to my husband's family. Leaving my parents and my small business behind in Las Vegas, I traveled back and forth a LOT over the first few years we were in Hampton Roads. Sadly, my mother passed away unexpectedly in 2012 at the young age of 68, leaving my father living alone. We honestly didn't know what to do. They had been together since they were 13 years old, and I didn't know how my father would make it without her. There were so many details to handle and we needed to try to find our new "normal".
My oldest son ended up moving back to Las Vegas to live with his grandfather. I continued to travel back and forth quite often and assisted as much as I could from afar. In August 2016 my dad was diagnosed with a very aggressive Esophageal Cancer, and he left us to be with my mom just a few short weeks later. My son was 23 years old at the time, and it is AMAZING how he stepped up and took care of his grandfather. We learned a LOT through the process from home health care to hospice, to fulfilling my dad's final wishes. We spent the next several months cleaning out the house my parents lived in for 30 years. That task was daunting to say the least; going through a lifetime of memories, having to make hard decisions as to what to keep, toss, sell, donate. My parents had held on to everything, never tackling the "down-size" phase many of us choose to do.
And here we are.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with senior clients as a Concierge and also as a Realtor®, and have recognized a need for providing a service specifically designed for the senior market. Having been through it all personally with my parents and also with downsizing my mother-in-law, I know first hand how hard it can be for individuals and their families during later-life transitions. I knew it was time to re-focus my business in the right place; right where my heart is. I'm pretty sure my parents would be proud.
Whether it's time to simply move to a smaller, lower maintenance home, a senior assisted living community, or to take steps to age-in-place, I promise to provide my clients and their families with customized solutions, offering compassion, patience, and support through the entire process...before, during and after.
